This resource is a great Native American Heritage Month activity—but it is also great to use any time of the year! In these unscramble grid activities, students are presented with a scrambled image of a portrait of a famous person. Then each student works to unscramble the grid pieces to produce the final “unscrambled” portrait.
I have included options both for cutting and pasting, as well as for drawing, which makes this great for students of any age and makes differentiation in your classroom easy.
8 People Included in this resource: Geronimo, Jim Thorpe, Chester Nez, Wilma Mankiller, Sitting Bull, John Herrington, Sacagawea, and Maria Tallchief
These one-page portraits can be colored, included in interactive notebooks, paired with research reports, hung on a bulletin board, or used in any other way imaginable!
ratings and counting!
This resource provided additional practice and support for my class. It aligned perfectly with my lesson. My students were actively engaged and excited to complete this activity. Thank you.
