About
I'm Jenny K.
I was born an artist. I love hearing my family tell stories of when I was young. I would draw and color instead of watching TV.
I would turn found objects into swings or other creative things. I always begged my siblings (5 of us) to be part of my pretend games and star in my “shows.” My parents were forever coming to “shop” at my store – full of creative creations and custom-made currency to purchase said items.Â
I lived my life asking one question, “What if?”Â
Well, not much has changed. I would still rather create and be creative than watch TV. I’m happiest when I’m exploring an idea that came from a “What if?” moment, and I’ve now created a store (TPT) and a website full of my treasures to share with educators and parents so other children can hold on to the artist inside of them.Â

I love making stuff!
Over the years, I have expressed my creative side through fine art and ballroom dance. I was a professional ballroom dance instructor for ten years in Virginia, where I met my husband.
We moved to Arizona in 2008; in 2011, our family was completed when our daughter was born. It gives my husband and me great joy to support her as she explores the world.
These days, I fill my personal time dancing, riding horses, swimming, and playing with our dog Eames. I love to ride my Peloton bike, do yoga, and meditate. Professionally, I fill my time supporting classroom teachers and parents as they infuse art into their teaching.

I love making stuff!
I’ve often thought that if there were 4 or 5 of me, I could get everything done in the world I am interested in. If only!!
I am many things. Here, I will be sharing many of these things in one place, and hopefully, you will get some idea of my artistic side. If you are stopping by as a teacher, I hope you will find many helpful resources to use in your classroom when trying to engage your students through art integration.

Making life easier for teachers and learning fun for kids is my goal.
In addition to the work I do globally to help educators, I also teach students at my local art studio in Tucson, Arizona. I have a quote by Dolly Parton painted at my studio entrance: “Find out who you are — and then do it on purpose.”
So, if you need me, that’s where I’ll be — living my life “on purpose” and empowering and encouraging others to do the same.Â
I am forever curating wonderful ideas and creating valuable resources for you, my colleagues, and my students. I hope you find something helpful when visiting my website, TPT, or social media accounts.
Thanks for reading. Now, back to work…
