These posters are the perfect way to start a unit or cap one off. They are an engaging and entertaining way for students to work together to create a large poster of Sitting Bull. They make a great classroom focal point and a lasting example of collaboration for your students. There are two options so you can choose what works best for you and your students!
Recommended for any grade or discipline as there are 2 poster options available – coloring (for lower grades) and drawing (for older students/art students). Plus, there are a variety of bonus resources included in this product for early finishers or as extensions.

We are using this to make a collaborative bulletin board for Native American month. I love the idea of not telling your students ahead of time what it will be, that it’s a mystery picture. As they were coloring it, they were trying to piece the pictures together to guess the picture!
My students love these collaborative posters. They’re great ways to introduce or summarize key figures or concepts within my curriculum. The students are always excited to see the posters come together.
This lesson is very easy. Each student is given one section of a large mosaic poster to color. Once all sheets are colored and cut out, they are then assembled to reveal a large poster of Sitting Bull.
