Description

“Happy New Year” Pop Art Dragon Collaboration Poster with Lunar and Chinese Title Options Included. This art activity is intended to complement/supplement any lessons and/or celebration of the Chinese New Year/ Lunar New Year and Spring Festival. This is a beautiful activity for you and your students.

This poster is easy for teachers and fun for kids! Each student is given one page of the poster to color. Once all sheets are colored and cut out, they are then assembled to reveal a large collaboration mosaic/poster/mural of a Pop Art dragon.

This poster is designed with options to allow you to use this poster during your Lunar New Year celebrations as well as at other times of the year. Simply including, or not including, the last column will change the final poster design. The current contents of this poster for the last column will get you to the year 2033 and includes all 12 Chinese zodiac signs.

My students loved guessing what we were making based on their independent pieces. When they saw the finished product they were over the moon happy.

My students loved colouring this co-operative art piece! I loved that the creator added in options for different years and Lunar New Year instead of Chinese New Year as I have several students who celebrate who are not from China. I like that it’s more inclusive. I also loved how much detail there was on each square. All students had something interesting on their piece.
