Nonfiction Reading Comprehension Passages [Vol.2]

12 Differentiated nonfiction reading comprehension passages and coloring pages for the entire year. VOLUME TWO. Start using this resource in January for your winter activities, then continue using it all year. Or jump in part way through the year with spring or another holiday or season.

Each of the 12 nonfiction passages comes in 3 levels for instant differentiation (for grades 3-8).

Students will first read the nonfiction passages, answer the questions, and turn the answers into unique artworks.

This is a great resource! I like that each passage is leveled so even though the students are learning about the same things, they don’t necessarily know that theirs is any different from another student in class. I also like how they are able to create something appealing from the work that they did – this was a great substitute activity!

My students loved the first one and are already looking forward to completing these monthly. The leveled option is perfect for my situation. We partnered with the art teacher who discussed pop art with my students. This really is enjoyable for the students as well as myself! Thanks for the complete, usable, and creative resource.
